Audrie & Daisy Film Screening & Panel Discussion
April 18 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Join us to screen and discuss this powerful, award winning documentary about the public shame of high school sexual assault and the aftermath endured by all. Senator Katie Muth will be participating on the panel & lending her voice and personal perspective to this much needed conversation.
Audrie & Daisy is an urgent real-life drama that examines the ripple effects on families, friends, schools and communities when two underage young women find that sexual assault crimes against them have been caught on camera. From acclaimed filmmakers Bonni Cohen and Jon Shenk (The Island President, The Rape of Europa), Audrie & Daisy takes a hard look at American’s teenagers who are coming of age in this new world of social media bullying, spun wildly out of control.
Admission is free but tickets are required as seating is limited. For tickets visit www.thecolonialtheatre.com. Please join us after the film for a panel discussion.
