44th District Holiday Lights and Display Contest

The Senate District 44 Office is holding its first annual Lights and Display Contest for residents of the 44th District.

If you go all out to decorate your home for the Holiday season we want to see your hard work!

The contest will run until December 25. To participate in the contest, please send us your address to events44@pasenate.com and we will stop by during the Holiday season to view your lights display.

Please also acknowledge in the email that we are able to feature your home on our social media pages. We will only share the municipality that you live in, no names or addresses will be publicly shared.

Holiday Scams Information Session

Join Senator Muth and Representative Joe Webster for a Holiday Scams Information Session on December 17, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm at Providence Place, 4000 Ridge Pike in Collegeville.

The free presentation will be hosted in partnership with the Office of PA Attorney General Josh Shapiro. The presentation will inform residents of the 44th on how to protect themselves and their families from scammers this holiday season.

Pa. just eliminated general assistance. The need for it hasn’t gone away

This week marks the end of General Assistance (GA) as we know it. The life-saving program that has helped thousands of Pennsylvanians get back on their feet and bridge the gap to self-sustainability ended on Aug. 1.

After a difficult battle through the legislative process and an underhanded maneuver to tie the elimination of GA to millions of dollars of hospitals, we accept that the program will cease to exist. However, that does not mean that the need has vanished.
