On Marzo 21, Senators Muth and Kane, along with Representatives Bizzarro, Deasy, and Malagari, will hold a hearing on cost of living adjustments for public retirees. More than 20 years have passed since Pennsylvania’s retired state workers and public school employees received a cost-of-living adjustment. Over that same time period, several measures show a cumulative rate of inflation of more than 50 percent. With the price of nearly all goods and services rising each year, it is vital that we ensure educators and state employees who gave so much to their communities can afford to live with dignity in retirement.

This Hearing will be held at the State Capitol Building in Harrisburg, PA in Hearing Room 8EA with a virtual option also being available.
