HARRISBURG, April 18, 2022 – State Senator Katie Muth, chair of the Pennsylvania Senate Democratic Policy Committee, and state Rep. Ryan Bizzaro, chair of the House Democratic Policy Committee, will host a joint roundtable discussion on Wednesday in Pittsburgh to explore issues facing Emergency Medical Services (EMS) agencies across Pennsylvania. The roundtable discussion was requested by state Sen. Lindsey Williams and state Rep. Nick Pisciottano.
The roundtable discussion will be held Wednesday, April 20 at 10:30 a.m in the Foerster Student Service Center Auditorium at the Community College of Allegheny County. The hearing will also accommodate virtual participation and anyone interested in participating can register in advance by clicking here.
The roundtable will feature discussion on various issues facing EMS agencies across the Commonwealth, including state funding, reimbursement rates, and recruiting and retaining EMTs. Participants in the roundtable discussion will include various leaders in local and regional EMS agencies.
