Royersford – Diciembre 11, 2019 – State Sen. Katie Muth (D-Berks, Chester, Montgomery) announced that the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) has approved funding for various programs that serve victims of crime in the 44th Senatorial District.

“Crime victims are too often neglected after their traumatic experiences,” said Muth. “The programs that have received funding today from PCCD will aid and provide important services to victims of crime through outreach and advocacy.”

A total of $829,381 was approved for a range of programs to help with the costs of substance abuse treatment training, addiction services and education, recidivism reduction programs, and program accreditations.

Grant recipients include:

  • Opportunity House in Berks County – $47,000
  • Chester County Commissioners – $47,000
  • CAC Montgomery County – $94,933
  • Child and Family Focus, Inc. in Montgomery County – $39,006
  • Berks County Commissioners – $101,926
  • Clare of Assisi House, Inc. in Berks County – $103,656
  • Council on Chemical Abuse in Berks County – $101,954
  • Family Services of Montgomery County – $143,906
  • Education Plus Health serving Berks County – $150,000

PCCD supports justice-related programs with a focus on research and support services. The programs approved for funding today help individuals countywide.
