“Investing in infrastructure always serves to better our communities,” Muth said. “The projects approved today will support rail freight transportation and jobs in the area.”
The approved projects include:

- $500,000 for East Penn Railroad to rehabilitate 27 miles of track on the Octoraro Line; and
- $700,000 for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority to install positive train control (PTC) equipment on four Pennsylvania Northeast Railroad locomotives.
