November 30 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
State Senator Katie Muth will host a LIHEAP Workshop for SD44 residents on Tuesday, November 30 from 6-7 PM. The event, hosted in conjunction with The PA Department of Human Services, will be held in the community room in the Lower Providence Community Library located in Eagleville.
LIHEAP, the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program, helps low-income families pay their heating bills in the form cash grants and crisis grants. Cash grants range from $500 to $1,500 based on household size, income, and fuel type. Those who need the LIHEAP crisis grant – the benefit for people who meet the poverty limits and are in jeopardy of having their heating utility service terminated – can receive a crisis grant of up to $1,200.
