OSHA Protections for Public Employees
March 20 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
On March 20th, Chairs Muth and Bizzarro along with Senator Tartaglione and Representative Harkins will hold a hearing on extending OSHA protections to public employees in the commonwealth. Currently, Pennsylvania public workers do not have Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) protection. This means that workers of state and local governments are powerless to change their work environment if they feel unsafe at any time.
This Hearing will be held at the State Capitol Building in Harrisburg, PA in Hearing Room 8EA with a virtual option also being available.
