ROYERSFORD, October 6, 2021 − State Sen. Katie Muth (D-Chester/Montgomery/Berks) today announced that she will host a free Veterans Expo on Saturday, October 30 for veterans in Senate District 44.

Senator Muth’s Veterans’ Expo is an opportunity for veterans of all ages to interact with more than 20 local and statewide veterans’ organizations and service providers to ensure that veterans are accessing the services and benefits available to them.

“Pennsylvania has the fourth largest veteran population in the entire country – and we need to continue to make sure the appropriate resources and supports are available and accessible to our veterans,” Muth said. “Our Veterans Expo is a way to centralize all of the different programs and services to ensure our veterans are aware and able to apply for the benefits and services they are entitled to receive.”

The event will take place on Saturday, October 30 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Hall E of the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks.

Some of the confirmed vendors include the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center; the Coatesville VA Medical Center; the PA Office of Attorney General; the PA Department of Military and Veterans Affairs; the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic; the US Dept of Veterans Affairs; the Pennsylvania American Legion; the Tri-County Active Adult Center; the Montgomery County Office of Veterans Affairs; the Chester County Veterans Affairs Office; the Spring Valley YMCA; the Travis Manion Foundation; SCORE Tri-County; Humana; the Senior Adult Activities Center of Montgomery County; and Eastern University.

The event is free for SD44 veterans and lunch will be provided. The event is adhering to all local and statewide COVID-19 guidelines and masks will be required while inside the Veterans’ Expo.
