License Plate Replacement Event

June 13 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
License Plate Replacement Event - June 13, 2026

I am partnering with the Upper Providence Township Police Department to host a license plate replacement event on Saturday, June 13. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot of the Upper Providence Township Municipal Building located at 1286 Black Rock Rd. in Phoenixville.

At the event, Upper Providence Township Police will inspect license plates to determine if they need replacement. If plates are deemed illegible, staff from my office will assist attendees in filling out PennDOT paperwork to process a replacement plate. In addition to the illegible plate, attendees are required to bring an unexpired Pennsylvania driver’s license and their current vehicle registration card.

Replacement license plates will not be distributed on site, staff will submit the completed paperwork to PennDOT, and replacement plates will be mailed to attendees once processed.

According to PennDOT, license plates are considered damaged and replaceable when letters or numbers are not recognizable from 50 feet away; the plate is peeling, blistering, or discolored; or the plate has lost its reflectivity.

For more information, contact my office at 610-792-2137.
