Royersford – Noviembre 12, 2019 – Sen. Katie Muth announced $4,468,863 in multimodal transportation grant funding for Montgomery and Chester Counties in the 44th Senatorial District.

“These grants will ensure we have the funds to drastically improve pedestrian and motorist safety, boost transportation means, and revitalize our communities,” said Muth. “Thank you to the Commonwealth Financing Authority and Reps. Webster, Otten, and Bradford for your support and collaborative efforts in securing these funds!”

Grants awarded today include:

  1. Royersford Borough, Trestle Bridge Rehabilitation Project: $1,000,000
  2. Lower Providence Township, SR 404 – Park Avenue, Eagleville Road, and Crawford Road Intersection Improvement Project:  $1,000,000
  3. Limerick Township, North Lewis Road Sidewalk Improvements: $783,421
  4. Worcester Township, Valley Forge Road Corridor Improvement Project: $700,000
  5. Ursinus College, Main Street Pedestrian Improvements: $670,442
  6. East Pikeland Township, Route 724 Pedestrian Improvement Project: $315,000

La financiación del transporte multimodal es aprobada y administrada por la Autoridad de Financiación de la Commonwealth.

La financiación se concede a proyectos destinados a impulsar el desarrollo económico y garantizar sistemas de transporte seguros y fiables a los residentes de la Commonwealth.
