Harrisburg – March 26, 2019 – Sen. Katie Muth (D-Berks/Chester/Montgomery) announced that local infrastructure and food processing projects were approved for grant funding through the Commonwealth Financing Authority today.

“It is great to see local projects receiving financial assistance to improve their infrastructure and operations,” said Muth. “I look forward to seeing how the support of these projects benefit our community.”

The three approved projects include:

  • $500,000 to the Riverfront at Royersford for infrastructure improvements at the 20-acre, mixed-use development site;
  • $474,935 to Royersford Borough for safety improvements for wastewater infrastructure; and
  • $50,000 to Horseshow Trails LLC, Birchrun Hills Farm for expansion of the dairy processing facility to increase production.

Muth said she is encouraged to see three unique projects receive grant funding.

“By supporting these projects that are connected to different sectors, we are continuing to host a variety of diverse businesses and initiatives that serve to better our area.”
