ROYERSFORD, February 17, 2025: State Sen. Katie Muth (D-Chester/Montgomery/Berks) is teaming up with several state Representatives from across Southeastern Pennsylvania and experts from PennDOT to host an informational webinar this week to help residents better understand the REAL ID requirements.

The webinar will take place on Wednesday, February 19 at 6:30 p.m. and is hosted by Senator Muth and state Reps. Joe Ciresi, Paul Friel, Danielle Friel-Otten, Kristine Howard, Melissa Shusterman, Joe Webster, and Dan Williams. Interested individuals can register in advance and submit questions at www.SenatorMuth.com/REALID

Beginning May 7, 2025, Pennsylvanians will need a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license/photo ID card, or another form of federally acceptable identification (such as a valid passport or military ID) to board a domestic commercial flight or enter a federal building or military installation that requires ID.

Obtaining a REAL ID is not mandatory but having one can make travel and access to federal facilities easier. The webinar will highlight what documents are required to get a REAL ID and feature a Q&A portion where participants can have their own REAL ID questions answered.

Registration is required to participate on Zoom, but the webinar will also be livestreamed at www.SenatorMuth.com/REALID and will be available to watch on demand following the presentation at www.SenatorMuth.com

For any questions about the webinar, contact Senator Muth’s District Office at 610-792-2137 or by email at senatormuth@pasenate.com
