ROYERSFORD, December 3, 2021 − State Sen. Katie Muth (D-Chester/Montgomery/Berks) today announced that her office is partnering with Pennie – Pennsylvania’s state-based health insurance marketplace – to host a Virtual Health Care Enrollment Town Hall event on Wednesday, December 8.

The Virtual Health Care Enrollment Town Hall will be held on Zoom on Wednesday, December 8 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and participants must register in advance by visiting SenatorMuth.com/Pennie.

“As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, the availability of quality and affordable health insurance has never been more important,” Muth said. “Our virtual event will help residents better understand how to apply, shop and enroll in health coverage in Pennsylvania – and also how to find out if your family qualifies for financial assistance.”

Pennie can help individuals and families without access to employer coverage, as well as uninsured Pennsylvanians. The 2021 Open Enrollment Period for Pennsylvanians runs through January 15, 2022. Pennie also provides financial assistance for those who qualify, which means health care coverage is more affordable for Pennsylvanians
